The Weinig Powermat 1000 6 Head Planer/Moulder
M&S (Softwood) Ltd are proud to introduce the Weinig Powermat 1000. This brand new machine uses state-of-the-art tooling and software technology, and provides the perfect complement to our existing range of high quality prepared stocks and mouldings.
We have established ourselves over the last 10 years as suppliers of high quality machined softwood products, backed by a fast and efficient delivery service. This new and exciting investment means we are now able to produce a wide range of planed sections, profiles and mouldings to customer’s specific requirements, with the same attention to quality and detail we have always applied to our standard stock range.

To further enhance our machining capabilities, we have also invested in a new Stenner ST100E Self-Centreing band saw, This computer-controlled re-saw allows quick and accurate conversion of sawn material, helping to produce a superior surface finish when planing.

The new “Easy-Set” Hood technology puts the “finishing touches” to it as far as quality and setting time are concerned.
Weinig template maker enables production of all new mouldings in-house, speeding up turn around of orders.
The Powermat 1000 has been designed for short to medium run batches. Product sizes achievable range from a minimum of 8X25mm to a maximum of 150X225mm.
